650 SPORT

First shown as a prototype in November 1991at the Milan show. The newly formed Laverda
Company Zanini rested their future on this model.The design work was carried out mainly
By Angelo Ferrari using components based on the old 500 D.O.H.C Alpino unit.
1994 saw the first batch of production bikes in the showrooms in a choice of four colour
options,red,blue,green or yellow.Stunning looking bikes they were with lots of high quality
components,alloy beam frame designed by nicco baker,white power suspension,top rate
brembo brakes and marchessini wheels all came as standard.
